Once there used to be a mountain lake in the Rock Sector. The Creators have partly drained it, and after making a series of other changes, have created an area suitable for their purposes. The sector is surrounded by mountains on all sides, which protect it from the strong winds that often blow in this part of the plain.

Mechminds and clans that inhabit this sector[]

The sectors population consists largely of Trances, Hunters and Invaders. Those groups live here on a permanent basis. In addition, rookies will appear, many of which will soon leave the sector.

  • Rock Sector's soundtrack was sightly different back in alpha days;
  • Behind the Raw Materials Base, on the cliff are dozen red quartz-like minerals on solidified lava spots with high radiation zone, which might refer that the Rock Sector is located right next to the Volcano Sector (it being in North of Volcano Sector);
  • In A.I.M., inside raw materials base, there's a pair of a road lamps;
  • In A.I.M. 2: Clan Wars there are lights on the main lake island. It should warn Mechminds of the possible collision danger;
  • Sector terrain and infrastructural contour looked slightly different back in the early to late ßeta. One of such versions of the map can be seen in the Russian demo.
