The stasis generator (also called stasis-field generator) is an equipment that gets installed right at the start of the game.
When activated, it creates a neutralizing sphere-shaped field around the glider, isolating it from the outside world. One of the features is the time-speeding effect for all objects, inside the field. In a complete stasis, the objects inside can't be "seen" by other mechminds.

Stasis or the stasis field in science fiction is a confined area of space where time has stopped or the contents have been rendered motionless. Other characteristics of the stasis field are infinite rigidity, making them unbreakable objects and a reflective surface. If something was thrown into the field (if it wouldn't let it in), it would be kept inside and would fly out like nothing happened at the deactivation of such fields.
